Bible Study, Colossians

Colossians 4:7-18 Small Group Questions

The conclusion to the study of Colossians.

Many times when individual study New Testament epistles they skip the introduction and conclusion “since they are not as important.”  But there are many wonderful nuggets of truth in both the epistolary introductions and conclusions.

There are 12 individual names plus three groups listed in the conclusion of Paul’s letter to the Colossians. What can we learn from them?

1. Do you need friends?
2. How do you pick your friends?
3. What character traits do you value in a friend?
4. What characteristics should you seek to develop?
5. What characteristics do you inspire (spur) in your friends?

I love to study the Bible and I love to engage with others in learning. I had been privileged to do this on a regular basis through church ministry and through part-time teaching at a local Bible colleges. Helping individuals learn to feed themselves through their own study of God’s Word is joy-giving to me. Influencing groups to do life and church from a biblically grounded, theologically faithful perspective is my passion.
