Bible Study, Colossians, Spiritual Formation

Colossians 1:1-2

Today, I’m starting a new study in the book of Colossians.  To compliment the study and extend the learning and application, I will be posting questions that could be used personally but would be more effective if used in a small group environment.

The audio from the study will be posted under the resource section.

Small Group Discussion Questions for Colossians 1:1-2

Is there enough evidence (in a court of law) to convict you of being a Christian?

What would the evidence be?  (Don’t be to harsh.)

When you evaluate your relationship to Christ, where do you start?

How does it make you feel if Paul were writing a letter to our church and called you a saint?
What is the positive side of that positional title?

What motivation does it provide?

If Paul were writing you a letter what commendation would he have for you?

What commendation would you like?

I love to study the Bible and I love to engage with others in learning. I had been privileged to do this on a regular basis through church ministry and through part-time teaching at a local Bible colleges. Helping individuals learn to feed themselves through their own study of God’s Word is joy-giving to me. Influencing groups to do life and church from a biblically grounded, theologically faithful perspective is my passion.
